Renowned Marathi and Hindi actorSadashiv Amrapukar is critically ill and admitted in the Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai. The 64-year-old actor has been admitted due to a lung infection and is in the ICU.
Well known for playing negative roles, Amrapukar had won a Filmfare award for the character he played in the Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Sadak' in 1991.
Apart from being an actor, he is also an social activist. Last year, Amrapurkar was attacked by some men at Versova after he protested against the wastage of water for Holi celebrations.
